Kiyomizudera Temple and the surroundings, Kyoto, Japan
Walking up the hill at the east of Kyoto, you will find the most celebrated Japanese Buddhism temple, the Kiyomitsudera or literally “Pure Water Temple”. The wooden stage of Kiyomizudera was built on a cliff without using a single nail where you may see the luxurious cherry blossom trees and maple trees surrounding the main stage. Although the temple is neither embraced by cherry blossom nor orange maple leaves in the early summer, the main stage of seems to be floating on a forest in green.
