Start your traditional Thai cooking class, which will take place outdoor under an antique Thai house amidst a certified organic herbal garden. Learn the techniques from a local experienced chef and prepare 4 popular Thai dishes: ‘Khanom Pang Na Moo’ Minced pork on toast, ‘Som Tam’ Raw Papaya Salad, ‘Kai Yang’ Grilled Chicken, and ‘Tom Yam Kung’ Lemongrass Soup with Prawns.
Proceed to Inn Chan Restaurant to enjoy your own cooked dishes and the chef will prepare 3 additional dishes for a full course Thai set lunch: Stir-fried Organic Morning Glory with Chili and Garlic, Massaman Curry with Beef and Stir-fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts. Steamed Jasmine Rice and Coffee/Tea are included in the meal.
Free time to take a leisurely walk through our chemical-free botanical gardens and explore a variety of native species of herbs and flowers including organic roses. All our gardens are certified organic to IFOAM and EU standards. Some time for shopping for handmade handicrafts and local souvenirs or elephant riding until the starting time for the Thai Cultural Show.
Thai Village Cultural Show
Relax and take a seat in an air-conditioned auditorium to enjoy the longest running daily show in Thailand. Live traditional Thai music accompanies the performance that highlights the Thai way of life, reflected through everyday activities, festivals and traditional celebrations. Highlights include: Buddhist ordination ceremony, Muay Thai (Thai boxing), typical Thai wedding ceremony, sword fighting and fast paced bamboo dancing.
