Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway
Thursday, January 25, 2018
It only takes a short train ride from Portland to reach the countryside surrounding the Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway, a 50-mile route that combines 30 miles of country roads with 20 miles on the car-free Banks-Vernonia State Trail. It starts at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro, easily accessible by lightrail, then meanders through the towns of Forest Grove and Banks and the forest of the coast range before ending in Vernonia.
